Shadevue Awnings · Wireless · Crank-Operated

Extra shade, when summer needs it.

A wireless, crank-operated awning that rolls out across your pergola for extra shade in the hot months, and tucks neatly away to let the light back in the rest of the year.

A low-cost addition to your pergola

Roll it out. Roll it away.

The Shadevue awning is designed to attach to your pergola or existing structure. The fabric rolls out under tension from a keyway tube and clips to a beam — perfect for covered spaces that get a little too hot to enjoy over summer, particularly north-facing or sheltered areas where little airflow circulates.

When you don't need it, a simple crank rolls the fabric tidily back onto the tube against the rear beam, letting in as much light and warmth as possible the rest of the year. Simply operated, reliable and very cost-effective — in Docril canvas, with a wide range of colours and patterns including stripes.

A pergola is a permanent structure. An awning is an addition to an existing structure — a retractable shade system that extends and retracts as needed. Awnings are ideal where you want shade on demand and clear sky the rest of the time.
Each awning is custom made up to 5.2m wide, with a projection up to 6m. Wider areas can be covered with more than one awning running side by side. We size it to your pergola or structure at the measure.
By a simple crank handle — it's a wireless system, so there's no motor, no power supply and no wiring to worry about. Wind it out when you want shade, and crank it back onto the tube when you don't.
Shadevue uses Docril canvas — a durable fabric available in a wide range of colours and patterns to suit your home. It carries a 10-year warranty against abnormal fading and wear.
